The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is a United Nations body whose mission is to promote and protect human rights around the world. The Council has 47 members elected for staggered three-year terms on a regional group basis.
At ARCUS MUN 2022, the simulation of UNHRC deals with the agenda “Human Rights Issues involved in the Autonomous Region of Crimea with Special Emphasis on the Right of People to Self Determination”. It is a Single Delegation committee, which means one delegate represents one country in that simulation.
