United Nations Security Council (UNSC)

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations (UN), charged with ensuring international peace and security, recommending the admission of new UN members to the General Assembly, and approving any changes to the UN Charter.

At ARCUS MUN 2022, the simulation of UNSC deals with the agenda “Validity of Foreign Interventions Premised on Erga Omnes Obligations”. It is a Double Delegation Committee, which means that two delegates represent the same country as a pair, they work together in that simulation.
